On August 6, Chai Xiangqun, member of the Standing Committee of Shaoxing Municipal Party Committee and political commissariat of Shaoxing Military Sub-region, went to Dongsheng Industrial Group to investigate the work of veterans' entrepreneurship and innovation. Group chairman Xu Weidong made a report to the research leadership.

      Xu Weidong reported his own situation after returning home from the retirement of the Shanghai Armed Police to set up a business, especially the current group is striving to build the Dongsheng Huigu industrial innovation service complex by using the land of printing and dyeing. As an innovation platform, Dongsheng Huigu will gather new industries such as new materials, medical devices, biopharma and medical services, and become a new space for innovation and entrepreneurship of high-end talents, ex-servicemen and other talents. As a former soldier, Xu Weidong has a deep understanding of the quality of ex-servicemen, and also reported to the research leader the recruitment, training and encouragement of innovation of ex-servicemen in the development process of the enterprise. This year, the project of "Application of a new antibacterial and moisture permeable nano material in the field of air purification" was awarded the first prize in the first Veterans Entrepreneurship and Innovation Contest in Shaoxing city, and two employees were awarded the title of "Outstanding Veterans" in Keqiao District.

      After learning the relevant information, Chai Xiangqun spoke highly of the development situation of our group and the achievements made in absorbing the employment of ex-servicemen, stressing that ex-servicemen are a precious treasure of the Party and the country and an important force in economic and social construction.
