Based on the preparatory work in the previous period, on September 23, Shaoxing Jinye Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. combined with Zhejiang University of Technology, Beijing Mining and Metallurgical Technology Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Chemical Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Hanergy New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. The members jointly filed the project of “Solid Waste Recycling”, the national key R&D plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, and the project titled “Recycling and Cooperative Disposal of Solid Waste Industrial Resources with Heavy Metals”.

      The project of "Recycling and Co-processing of Solid Wastes Containing Heavy Metals Industry" is divided into four sub-topics:

      (1) Recycling and disposal of industrial wastes containing copper. The sub-project is under the responsibility of Shaoxing Jinye Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., assisted by Zhejiang University of Technology and Zhejiang Chemical Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd.

      (2) Recycling and disposal of industrial wastes containing silver. The sub-project was completed by Zhejiang University of Technology and Shaoxing Jinye Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.

      (3) Recycling and purification technologies for solid waste in the photovoltaic industry containing copper indium gallium selenide. The sub-project is under the responsibility of Zhejiang Chemical Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd., Shaoxing Jinye Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and Hanergy New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.

      (4) Technical development and demonstration line construction of nickel-containing industrial solid waste resources. This sub-project is undertaken and completed by Beijing Mining and Metallurgical Technology Group Co., Ltd.

      The project itself raised 40 million yuan of funds and 20 million yuan of special funds from the central government. The project implementation began in September 2019 and lasted for 48 months. The implementation and completion of the project will definitely improve Shaoxing Jinye Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang University of Technology, Beijing Mining and Metallurgical Technology Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Chemical Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Hanergy New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. containing copper and silver. R&D and industrialization of recycling and recycling technologies containing nickel and copper-indium gallium selenide solid waste; improving the competitiveness of enterprises and research units.
